About New Lenox, IL - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

New Lenox is a Will County, Illinois village located outside of Chicago. As of 2010, the population was approximately 24,400, but the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning predicts the total number of residents will grow to over 90,000 by 2030. New Lenox is situated about 36 miles from downtown Chicago, and two Metra rail stations are located in the community so that residents can commute to the city for work. New Lenox is also located at the junctions of some of the most important roads in the region, making it especially convenient for travel and transportation.

New Lenox is home to a variety of unique area attractions. The Commons was opened by the city in 2005, and it is home to a variety of concerts, festivals, and other events throughout the summer. Sanctuary Golf Course has been rated by Golf Chicago as one of the best values for golfing in the Chicago area. Other nearby attractions include the Rialto Square Theatre located six miles west in Joliet, the Chicagoland Speedway, and Silver Cross Field, which is home to the Joliet Slammers amateur baseball team.

The climate of New Lenox is classified as humid continental. All four seasons are represented distinctly. Autumns are pleasant while winters are cold and snowy. Average high temperatures in January, which is the coldest month of the year, generally only reach the mid-50s. Severe snow storms move into the area periodically, making driving conditions hazardous, so residents that are stuck indoors are generally grateful to have a reliable furnace or heat pump system at home.

After a long winter, New Lenox residents are often relieved when the start of spring arrives. Although the season is rainy, temperatures begin to warm up before leading into a hot and humid summer. With temperatures that can easily reach 90 degrees Fahrenheit, it is important that New Lenox residents have access to a cool place to call home that is kept comfortable with a central air conditioning system.
