About La Grange, IL - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in Cook County, Illinois, La Grange is a village and Chicago suburb with a population of 15,500. The first settlers came to the region in 1830, approximately seven years before Chicago was incorporated. The community is situated 13 miles from The Loop, making it a popular residential area for commuters. Lyons Township High School provides an education to La Grange residents, but only the North Campus is located here. The North Campus is used by juniors and seniors, while freshmen and sophomores attend classes at the South Campus found in neighboring Western Springs.

La Grange is home to several interesting and exciting attractions and things to do. The La Grange Theatre is located here, and it shows many of Hollywood’s newest films, as does the AMC Loews Quarry Cinemas 14. Shopping lovers may like to check out the Jackson Square Mall, which is well known for its vintage clothing and estate jewelry. Visitors who are feeling artistic also enjoy a trip to the Ceramic Art Cafe, and the La Grange Art League Gallery and Circle of Stones are other popular destination for the artistically-inclined.

Many La Grange residents enjoy living in this village because it gets them out of the hustle and bustle of the big city so that they are better able to enjoy the outdoors. Keeping an eye on the weather is important for these residents, and conditions can vary dramatically during the year. In the winter, cold and snowy conditions can keep them homebound, especially since high temperatures generally don’t exceed the freezing point during January. A reliable home heating system is needed to stay comfortable and safe during this time, but an air conditioner is suggested for the summer months. During the summer, conditions become very hot and humid, and there are many days that temperatures climb above 90 degrees. Along with keeping temperatures low indoors, an air conditioner can also help to improve interior air quality and to reduce allergen levels.
