About Merrionette Park, IL - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Merrionette Park is a small village found in Cook County, Illinois. As of 2010, the population was approximately 1,900, and with only 0.38 square miles of total area, the village is also small geographically. The community was founded in the early 1940s, and in contrast with the surrounding communities that started as railroad suburbs or market towns, Merrionette Park was a planned suburban development. It has since remained a quiet bedroom community and is bordered by Mount Greenwood, the Chicago neighborhood, along with five cemeteries.

Merrionette Park is a small community, so there are only a few attractions located here. There are some stores and shops that could be of interest to residents or visitors passing through, including Karen’s Hallmark Shop, the Dollar Tree, and Tobacco City. The Hair Cuttery is a popular hair salon in the community. There are also a variety of unique restaurants in Merrionette Park for residents looking for a night out, including 115 Bourbon Street, Wings China Palace, and Beggars Pizza

This village is known for its varied weather conditions throughout the season, so Merrionette Park residents will want to invest in both home furnace and air conditioning systems to utilize at different times throughout the year. During the summer, temperatures average in the mid-70s, but there are several days in which heat waves will bring temperatures into the 90s. With high humidity levels that are common for the region, it will likely feel even hotter, and an air conditioning unit can make all the difference when it comes to comfort levels during this time.

Weather extremes are also common during the winter, which tends to be quite variable. Some winters experience minimal snowfall and moderately cold temperatures in the 30s, while the next season may bring severe snowstorms and below-zero conditions. Investing in a reliable furnace will ensure that home temperatures stay comfortable regardless of what Mother Nature has in store.
